Character Information Window

Characters in the main window may be examined more closely by simply double-clicking on any character. This will supply the character's keystroke, an enlarged view of the selected character, plus UniCode and PostScript names, and the character's width. A new feature for version 1.58 is a field providing the HTML name and numeric entity values.

FontView can also generate a list of all low-byte (0-255) characters for the current font. Some of the character codes, glyph names, and the glyph width in the current font is displayed for each character.
